We took Mum and Dad to Duxford for the Flying Legends air show. Dad just loved aircraft and come to that, anything mechanical. Mum was thrilled by the sound of aircraft engines, and had been since she grew up near Ludham Aerodrome. We were lucky that day, that we parked the car right behind the crowd line so they didn’t have far to walk. Dad was getting quite frail by this time, but enjoyed the day enormously.
