Daphne at Broadlands Park

2019 March – 2021 October

Daphne moved to Broadlands Park permanently on 26th March 2019. She had been there for Respite care for 2 weeks whilst Carol and I modified her house to make it safe for her. When she came home, she realised after only two days that Broadlands Park was a far more comfortable and social place to be. She was very happy there for the remainder of her life. The social interaction and general activity was also a great stimulation and arrested her (until then) rapid deterioration.

The staff there were so caring and attentive that we could feel completely confident that our Mum, Nanny, Great Nanny was safe and  being looked after by the best possible people we could wish for.

We are so thankful that Broadlands Park (One of the Hollyman Care Homes) looked after her so well.
